Pilates, Dance and physical conscience in motion
Born in Spain, I started to be interested in movement from a young age. I've danced all my life. To me, dance has been a way of getting to know myself and develop personally, as well as a new way of showing others how to know themselves through their own body motions. I have always believed in my dance classes as a tool for generating a community based life through self-esteem and respect. To move with others, first you need move with yourself... that`s life!
I like using the different kinds of dance techniques as well as the Pilates Method to improve the physical awareness and health of my students. I had a back injury myself and realized the importance of conscious bodywork so I started to study Pilates and learning more about how to keep a healthy back while dancing. I am Author of "The importance of spine balance and core control to practice African Dance”.

I was formed in various disciplines since 2004, such as African Dance, Contemporary Dance and Belly Dance, with different Teachers: Sonia Sampayo, Cristina Rosa, Gloria Alba, Arnaldo Iasorli, Marisa CámarA, Papis Koite, Amadou Ndieng, Nuria Jimenez, Jesus Rubio, ... and many others .

I have worked as a performative storyteller in a beautiful project called "Un dia en Kudugu" ("One day in Kudugu"), a storytelling that use sounds, music and dance as a way of communication towards kids.

As a dancer and performer, I have been involved in various artistic projects and a member of several dance companies with great teachers to whom I am very grateful. Since 2007, I combine my personal training with regular and private classes, and with intensive workshops in African Contemporary Dance, Physical Conscience in Motion and Pilates.
