Pilates, Dance and physical conscience in motion
In African dance classes we work with rhythms and dances from West Africa, typical of the Mandinga or Malinké empires and currently composed in Mali, Guinea Conakry, Senegal and Burkina Faso, among others. We learn the cadence and quality of the African dance movement in this region delving into the rhythms chosen to decipher and understand the language of African instruments, which are full of strength and energy!

The class is divided into three blocks. First, we do a brief warm-up to prepare our body, followed by strengthening exercises, focusing especially on the "CORE" region, abdominal and lumbar-sacral, as they are fundamental for this type of work. Then, we continue with several sequences of exercises that will increase the degree of difficulty, to then make small sequences and choreographies with everything learned. Classes end up with stretching exercises to prevent possible injuries and to help improve fitness gradually.
